Note: COVID-19 testing is available at Salem Clinic for healthcare workers, first responders and other essential front-line personnel. Stop by 2020 Capitol Street NE or 2531 Boone Road SE Monday-Friday 10am-7pm or weekends 10am-5pm for an urgent care visit and COVID-19 testing*.

* Laboratory tests must be ordered by a physician/provider. Orders are made based on recommendations by the Oregon Health Authority and the discretion of the individual physician/provider.

Healthy Habits to Preventing Illnesses:

  • Stay home when you are sick unless you need to see a medical provider
  • When possibly, keep your distance from others who are sick Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing
  • Wear a mask if your healthcare representative asks you to and make sure it is covering your mouth and nose at all times
  • Dispose of used tissues or masks in the nearest trash receptacle
  • Wash your hand with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol based hand sanitizer after disposing of used tissues or masks, after using the restroom and before eating
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
  • Practice good health habits such as regular cleaning, getting plenty of sleep, being physically active, managing stress, eating nutritious food and drinking plenty of water
