A longtime area resident, Dr. Farnell grew up in Salem and attended the University of Oregon where he graduated with honors in 1990. From there, it was on to the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota where he earned his medical doctorate degree. He completed his postgraduate residency and family practice specialization while serving in the United States Air Force. In addition to caring for patients from newborns on, Dr. Farnell does a wide variety of procedures, including cardiac stress testing, joint injections, lesion removal, flex sigmoidoscopy and vasectomy.
