Why I belong...
I have enjoyed practice as a part of the Salem Clinic hospital medicine team since 2005. I became a physician because I actually wanted to help people! I enjoy providing care for the acutely ill, especially older patients. I do everything that I can to guide patients through what can be desperate situation, while they are sick and vulnerable.

For life...
My family includes my wife of 36 years, Cheryl, and three grown kids who are spread out across the country. When I am not in the hospital, I am reading, camping, hunting, fishing or gardening and toiling outside.
