Why I belong...
I have been fortunate to be apart of Salem Clinic since 2010; first as an outpatient primary care physician, transitioning to inpatient hospitalist work in 2013. I enjoy taking care of the acutely ill patients in the busy hospital setting; from developing a working diagnosis and facilitating a treatment plan, to working with patients, their family members and others on the health care team to come up with safe discharge plans. In addition to work in the hospital setting, I also continue to be actively involved in leadership roles at Salem Clinic, in the community, and at the state level. I am currently a member of the Oregon Medical Board, the licensing and supervisory Board of all allopathic and osteopathic physicians, physician assistants and acupuncturists in the state.

For life...
My husband, who is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist at Salem Clinic, and I are so pleased that we can call Oregon our home. We enjoy all that this great state has to offer, from the coast, to the valley, to the mountains. We share our home with our Miniature Schnauzer, who greats all enthusiastically when they come to the door. We have a son in college in Texas, I have a daughter in Denver, and a daughter and grandson in Chicago. Needless to say, we enjoy traveling to visit our growing family, and exploring the rest of the world as our schedules permit.
