Salem Clinic was founded in 1925 by a group of three physicians. The Clinic began in the old Masonic Temple, which was located at High and State Streets. Growth and development then prompted a move to the Livesly Building and from there to the Griffin Building in 1955. In 1959, the Clinic moved into its own building at 222 High Street and remained there until August 11, 1975, when the present Main Clinic building at 2020 Capitol Street NE was officially occupied. Steady growth over decades lead to expansions around town, reaching into South Salem and North into Keizer.
In addition to our medical providers, the Main Clinic houses full service laboratory and imaging departments. Four facilities within our community are available for patient convenience. Our multi-specialty group practice setting enables us to provide our patients with comprehensive care and the benefit of varied specialties. At the present time we have over fifty providers representing family medicine; internal medicine; obstetrics and gynecology; general, and bariatric surgery; urgent care; and behavioral health.
We welcome the opportunity to serve you and your family.
