Salem Clinic Laboratories are inspected and licensed by the State of Oregon's Laboratory Compliance and quality assurance section of the Department of Health and Human Services to comply with federal rules and regulations.
Our 'full service laboratory' is staffed by dedicated and committed laboratory professionals, and equipped with state of the art instrumentation to provide a broad menu of diagnostic testing. Our Quality Assurance program is designed to ensure quality testing and timely reporting of results to your provider to support your diagnostic needs. Most test results are available to you and your provider same day.

Weekend appointments may be scheduled thru your provider at our Main Clinic Laboratory for those patients with special needs and circumstances.
For specialized testing, we partner with LabCorp (Laboratory Corporation of America). We consider LabCorp to be an extension of our laboratory. Systems are maintained to ensure that you receive the same quality care through our referral laboratory. LabCorp bills separately from Salem Clinic for work performed; you may notice a separate billing to your insurance provider.
Salem Clinic Laboratories and LabCorp contracts with many insurance companies to avoid out-of-pocket expenses. Insurance plans and coverage can vary. We encourage our patients to directly contact their insurance plan for questions and clarify 'covered benefits'.
