Dr. Pirkl joined Salem Clinic in 2018 after 24 years in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and Navy Physician. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in Bremerton Washington with the Navy where he and his wife fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. He values full scope family medicine and caring for multiple generations of family members. He sees each patient as an individual on a unique path with their own story to live and to tell. "I feel that the most valuable thing we can give each other is our time and attention. I strive to understand where a person is in their life and where they hope to go." He enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children and ideally exploring the outdoors.
