Renu Bhandari, MD

Dr. Renu Bhandari is a family medicine physician who believes in treating every patient as an individual, taking the time to understand their concerns, goals, and values, and partnering with them throughout their health journey.

Dr. Bhandari chose family medicine because it allows her to be a first point of contact for patients while caring for a wide range of medical needs. She values the breadth of the specialty, which keeps her intellectually engaged and encourages her to keep learning and growing. Most of all, she enjoys getting to know her patients, building long-term relationships, and working together with them to address their health concerns and goals.

Her areas of focus include chronic disease management (such as hypertension and diabetes), acute illness, women's health, gender care, joint injections, skin lesions, mental health, weight management, and HIV and hepatitis care.

Patients can expect a welcoming and respectful environment where Dr. Bhandari takes the time to listen to their concerns, answer their questions, and make sure they feel heard. She approaches every relationship with openness, empathy, and respect, striving to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care while working together with patients to develop a plan that fits their individual needs.

Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts, cooking for her family, and spending time in nature.

Dr. Bhandari is fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali.
