Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Sondermayer grew up camping, snowmobiling, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. After attending medical school in Oregon, she and her husband put down roots here in the Willamette Valley and now enjoy life with their growing family. Together they love off-roading in their Jeep, gold panning in the rivers, and spending time at home with their flock of chickens, cows, and cat. In quieter moments, Samantha enjoys sewing, baking cheesecakes, and scrapbooking.
Dr. Sondermayer loves family medicine because it allows her to care for people through every stage of life while building lasting, meaningful relationships with her patients and their families. She has a special passion for women’s health and lactation care and is currently working toward becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and pursuing board certification in Breastfeeding Medicine. Dr. Sondermayer looks forward to being your advocate in health—supporting you, your family, and your goals while helping you stay well throughout life’s many seasons.
