Unfortunately I have received absolutely devastating news about a terminal cancer diagnosis of my parent. I have been absolutely beside myself and struggling with coping with the news. I sent a message to my doctor about increasing the dosage of my medication. He replied with a very caring message and offered to stay later just so he could fit me in for an appointment so I didn?t have to wait. I can?t tell you how much that kind and simple gesture meant to me. Dr. Akbari has always been a calming presence and very kind and caring. Having a supportive doctor while I?m going through one of the most devastating situations I have ever faced is really a blessing and a comfort when I need it most. Doctor Akbari exemplifies all of the core values that Salem clinic stands for. I am so lucky to have him as my doctor. Thank you.
