In addition to obtaining his medical degree from the University of Alberta, completing a residency at the University of Saskatchewan and maintaining a busy practice focused on preventive medicine, he also has a special interest in dermatologic issues. Dr. Zuk has completed two years of postgraduate training through Cardiff University, obtaining a diploma in practical dermatology. Dr. Zuk is available to screen, diagnose and treat dermatologic diseases using medications, cryotherapy and surgery for patients of all ages. After training in Canada, Dr. Zuk practiced for eight years in a small town in Ohio before coming to the "big city" of Salem. He believes that healthy eating and regular exercise are very important in health maintenance. He tries to do this currently both with commuting to work on foot/bike and doing triathlons.
